Your Halloween meals are about to get spookier than ever! This craft is made of easy-to-find materials, the procedure is simple and, no matter what’s on the plate, it will get kids excited about your Halloween dinner.

MATERIALS NEEDED:

White paper or White card stock 

Black card stock

Orange card stock

Green card stock

Scissors

Glue

Cardboard tube (paper towel tube or toilet paper roll)

Pencil

Ruler

Black marker

Paper punch 1,5” (circle or scalloped circle) (optional) OR something circular (e.g. tape, bottle cap, etc.)

Googly eyes (optional)

Cutting tool (optional) (used only by adults)

 

JACK-O’-LANTERN

Cut out 3 orange circles using a paper punch (1,5”). If you do not have a paper punch, you can also use something circular to trace 3 circles on orange card stock and cut them out with scissors.

Cut a small green strip (length: about 0,7”).

Glue the three orange circles, slightly overlapping, on top of each other.

Glue the green strip (stem) to the back.

 

Glue a set of googly eyes onto the pumpkin or draw the eyes and the mouth on white paper with a black marker, cut them out with scissors and glue them on.

SPIDER

Cut out one black circle and a strip (length: about 5”, width: about 0,2”). Divide the strip into 6 equal parts (legs). 

Glue a set of googly eyes onto the black circle or draw the eyes on white paper using a black marker, cut them out with scissors and glue them on.

 

Glue the legs to the back of the black circle.

BAT

Draw the bat shape on the black card stock and cut it out with scissors.

Glue a set of googly eyes onto the black circle or draw the eyes on white paper using a black marker, cut them out with scissors and glue them on.

 

 

Cut 3 rings from the cardboard tube with scissors or a cutting tool (only to be used by adults). The rings should be about 1”-wide.

 

 

Glue the Jack-O’-Lantern, the spider and the bat onto the rings. If you’d like, you can color the rings or draw something on them with markers (e.g. spider web).
